The second edition of the Seagram’s 100 Pipers India Music Week, an event conceptualized and organized by Rock Street Journal, was held from November 21 till November 25. The showcase festival featured artists from India and abroad, with an eclectic mix of sounds and genres on display, with 40 events being held across three cities – New Delhi (NCR), Bangalore, and Mumbai. The artists slated to perform include the likes of Dub Inc. (France), Shrilektric (UK) featuring Lord K.I.M.O. (Asian Dub Foundation), MIDIval Punditz, Naadro (Sri Lanka), Vir Das’s comedy rock outfit Alien Chutney, Strings (Pakistan), and Jindabaad (Nepal), among several others.

In addition to the music performances, the festival also hosted a two-day music conference held in New Delhi on November 21 and 22, featuring respected Indian and international panelists discussing pertinent subjects around the issue of independent music and finding ideas and solutions to propel the movement in the right direction.
