So 2009 releases pwnd 2010 inside out? You don't think so? Waiting for Varg's release wasn't worth it? Mayhem sucks without Euronymous?

My reccomendations-
Adorior- Author of Incest (Female fronted blackmetal band that sounds like a mix of warmetal and death thrash with members from Grave Miasma, Destoyer 666 and Urn)
Goatpenis- Biochemterrorism (They've switched from blackgrind to warmetal with deathmetal influences, sounds excellent in my opinion)
Diocletian- both the albums (Sound like a mix of blasphemy meets bolthrower meets Akitsa)
Feldgrau- Mechanized Misanthrophy- Warmetal meets industrial in this Petehelmkamp side project

I'm not much into Black metal plainly because I just haven't heard much, but if anyone missed the new Ihsahn, go fucking kill yourself. Get it, right now. It's fucking tits, man.

Fucked up one-man project from Holland. Suicidal, industrial, melancholic, and brutal. Highly recommended.

More black/death in the vein of the recent cavernous, bowel-shaking resurgence of old-school slime.

Vreid - Milorg
Post-Windir stuff. New one coming out next year I think.

The Arrival Of Satan - The Vexing Verses
Some of the most throat-lacerating vocals going around.

Never heard of Diocletian. Will try them tonight.

The Arrival Of Satan is BADASS!!! Listen to it RIGHT NOW if you haven't. Crazy vocals.

Few of my picks -

1. Nyktalgia - Peisithanatos ( Only because it was a decent release which went unnoticed)
2. The Kovenant - In Times Before the Light (the mighty Hellhammer on Drums)
3. Kvist - For Kunsten Maa Vi Evig Vike

By this and my recco's going forward, you'll see what a sucker I am for old Norwegian Black Metal (not Nyktalgia). I had a mind block till about 2 years ago. I just couldn't get myself to like post 2000 stuff. I am slowly recovering

It didnt go unnoticed. Great album as compared to the earlier one.
