they should skip Gurgaon and play@b'lore only.. tho I am Delhite. Relatively less poseurs in b'lore and 1 show means all roads will lead to b;lore. It will be epic lyk maiden's 1st concert in 07.

Not a very bright statement that. I'm glad that I dont have to fly down to Bangalore for 10 k to watch 'em. Should be a mega event, lots of babes, F1 etc etc.. will make for a great gig.

but all I want is metallica. This is the moment, many of us have been waiting for so long. I want it to be intense. Who cares if they are not in their prime! If you were there @palaceground in 07 Edfest, you will get the drift. The build up to the gig was insane. I want a large passionate crowd who will be there only for Metallica. Too many wannabes will ruin the moment for me. I wont be surprised if the crowd shouts summer of 69 or linkin park in gurgaon. How embarrassing will tht be  !

btw I heard their b'lore concert is a part of sonisphre fest.Big four? Rumour?

I know what you mean dude, I was merely jesting. I'm pretty sure that no one is gonna ask for "Summer of 69" at the gig though.. In fact, I have a feeling that the gig in Gurgaon will be bigger than the one in Bangy... because of the link to the F1 event the gig might not run into the curfew hour problems that plague Bangy..

(1) No matter where you are in the country, you have to comply with the loud music law. Playing loud music outdoors is outlawed between 10 P.M - 6 A.M.

Quote:
No permission can be granted by any authority for use of public address system in the open after 10.00 PM and before 6.00 AM. No exception is possible. Any person or organization making noise on amplified system after 10.00 pm is violation of the law and the person can be prosecuted under the provisions of the EPA 1986. Only District Magistrates can grant permissions after 10.00 PM for functions within closed premises. District Magistrates cannot grant permission for use of any amplified public address system after 10.00 PM.

Noise regulation law - 2000

(2) People planning to visit one venue, if not from the North, would visit B'lore. The place simply has a better ecosystem for a gig.
(3) There are decent chances of a good opening band at B'lore (Sonisphere)

i guess there wil be barricade separating both the sections like it was in prev.concerts. but it is a bad arrangement as the crowd tends to jump over and push their way to the frnt.

First world cops are struggling to stop a mob in London, and we have idiots hoping that a few policemen with lathis would be able to guard a barricade against tens of thousands of people.
How stupid are the desi event organizers?
