Officer's Choice Blue presents RSJ Massive, a live music initiative showcasing and promoting a multi-genre line-up of artists from alternative music arena.
The first edition of RSJ Massive will feature Himalayan/Nepali folk fusion singer-songwriter songwriter BIPUL CHETTRI, whose musical journey took a huge leap exactly five years ago with the release of his first single in 2013, titled Wildfire. The folk act will be joined by the Shillong based hip-hop trio KHASI BLOODZ. The young group has played a sensational role in representing and promoting the hip-hop culture and its live music in the North East and beyond.
Officer's Choice Blue and RSJ Massive also proudly announces blues rock guitarist/composer and a music icon - RUDY WALLANG. Considered as one of the finest guitarists in the country, Wallang has been on the forefront of live independent music for the last fifteen years. Staying true to the name, RSJ Massive's line-up completes with the fourth and the last act of the edition- metal heavyweights RECTIFIED SPIRIT. The Guwahati-based outfit, now in its thirteenth year, will be the metal representative in this 'multi-genre' setting.
Rock Street Journal, through its programming, always aimed for something refreshing and unique on the live music front and Massive brings together these established faces of varying genres for the same occasion at the 5th Ground, Polo, Shillong on March 17th.
Rock Street Journal is the first independent music publication of this country, owning and executing multiple live music festival properties. RSJ is also the proud owner of iconic music festivals, including GREAT INDIAN ROCK and INDIA MUSIC WEEK. Being one of the first voices of independent music, RSJ is thrilled to join hands with Officer's Choice Blue towards this yet another unique and massive evening with an extremely diverse line-up.
