Delhi All Set For Outrage Festival 2014

Jul 08, 01:43pm

With a well received and loud pre-event gig, Delhi is all set to play host to the Outrage Metal Festival on July 13 at Blue Frog.

After an impressive and successful prelude gig at Barrels (Vasant Vihar), Delhi is finally gearing up for the Outrage Metal Festival, to be held on July 13 at the recently re-opened Blue Frog. Featuring an exciting line-up including Undying Inc., Zygnema, Third Sovereign, Escher’s Knot, Nigambodh, Colossal Figures, Aberrant, and Fragarak, the festival would surely be a welcoming abode for all the metalheads across the country.

The festival also had a well received pre-event on July 5, which was hailed as a ‘warm up’ to the main act, featured performances by Kraken, Silent Existence, and High Frequency.

With an overwhelming response, the festival organizers are optimistic that the festival would be a huge milestone for the Delhi metal scene, surpassing the traditional heavyweights Bangalore and Mumbai, who have largely spearheaded Indian metal so far.

With such events lined up, we can definitely look forward to more such gigs in the city catering to the headbanging and moshing lot.
