Metallica Singer James Hetfield ready to make his acting debut

Receiving its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, between January 24 and February 3, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile will have� James Hetfield from Metallica making his acting debut

Metallica’s James Hetfield is making his debut acting role in a new film about serial killer Ted Bundy.

The vocalist and guitarist will play the role of Officer Bob Hayward alongside Zac Efron and Lily Collins in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile, directed by Joe Berlinger.

Berlinger, 57, from Bridgeport , Connecticut was also the cinematographer for Metallica’s music video of “Some Kind of Monster”.

The film will receive its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, between January 24 and February 3.

Metallica will return to the UK and Europe on the next leg of their WorldWired tour from May. The band also plans to launch their album Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic At The Masonic on February 1.
