Neil Mukherjee is as pure as it gets as a musician and that is evident from every little piece of music he has created. Trained as a Carnatic musician in Chennai, Mukherjee is a well rounded guitar player regarded as a virtuoso with abilities to play across varied genres. Having worked with composers like Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, A. R. Rahman, he has come a long way from his days of playing with Kolkata band Krosswindz.

His new offering is a Single called “Song From The Mountain” that entices with its sheer simplicity much like its source of inspiration, the music of the Himalayan people. “Nature is supreme. I miss her living amidst concrete, chaos, pollution, noise and what not! I try to feel her, imagine her through music. Music is my magic carpet”, says Neil who currently resides in Mumbai.
