Delhi based pop rock outfit Faridkot, who have been missing in action in recent months, are back with a new look line-up and ready to start gigging once more. They kick off their second innings on Saturday, August 25, in Gurgaon, in a gig also featuring a special solo performance by Akhil Sachdeva, the lead singer of Nasha, and the ever entertaining Advaita.
In conversation with the band’s vocalist IP Singh and the guitarist Raj Sanyal.
RSJ: How do you feel about the first gig with the new line up?
IP: We are really excited about it. We have a new line up, new songs and something very refreshing to offer to our fans. It’s something we are thrilled about and are looking forward to, and we are sure our fans are in for a treat
RSJ: Can we expect to hear some old hits?
Raj: Yes. You will get to hear a couple of the old songs with a twist. We'll mostly be performing some newer stuff which is unheard of. The band has made a fresh start and is looking to kick things off in the upcoming gig season by playing different shows and being part of different festivals
