Mumbai based thrash metal heavyweights Sceptre are now calling in vocalists from across the country to audition for join the ranks amongst some of the hardest metal heads from the scene. After the departure of vocalist Samron Jude from the band’s forefront, Sceptre are looking for someone with the right attitude, and who thinks they can man the ship. For those of you closet growlers, this is the time to come out and play the big game. If you think your persona along with your voice can bludgeon a dent into a blood drunk metal audience; these are one of those opportunities that come by rarely, and you do not want to miss.
Drummer Aniket Waghmode says, “We’ve been thrashing for a long time, and this time we’ve raised the stakes. We want the new front man to have that ‘wow’ factor that you’d expect from a band like Sceptre.” For those of you interested, Sceptre have kept the applications for the auditions open ended; accepting applicants regardless of age, gender, or location. The band has stated that this time around they are planning on retracing toward traditional thrash vocals, so applicants are suggested to come prepared.
