Delhi’s extreme metal band Undying Inc. have released a video for their new single, called ‘IRONCLAD’, which is available for streaming on YouTube. The video has been produced and directed by Abhishek Roy Sharma, with art direction by Reuben Bhattacharya, who is also the bass player for Undying Inc.
‘IRONCLAD’, a new song written after the band reunited with vocalist Shashank Bhatnagar last year, is part of their forthcoming EP. The band debuted the song live last September at RSJ Live Nites, and the powerful, energetic flow of ‘IRONCLAD’ is something the Undying guys have tried to capture in the video. It is shot in a monochrome scale, with a return to old-school production values and rawness in terms of the vibe of the video.
It features the band playing the song in their jam room – our guess is it’s at their staple jam venue, Fender Music Academy in Shahpur Jat, a stone’s throw away from the RSJ office – and the footage of the band is interspersed with edited stock footage from World War II. Basically, lots of gunshots and explosions and stuff to complement the brutal and extreme aggression that Undying Inc have cultivated over the past few years.
