With the first exhibition held in Mumbai from October 29 to November 2, Gibson’s ‘Through The Lens’ is set to be held across four more cities – Hyderabad (November 6-12), Chennai (November18-22), Bangalore (November 26 - December 2), and Gurgaon (December 10-17) – over the next two months. Showcasing a photographic exhibition comprising of sixty vintage and rare photographs of some of the world’s greatest guitarists, ‘Through The Lens’ brings together 60 fine photographic prints signed by the photographers, featuring legendary musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Angus Young, Frank Zappa, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, John Fogerty, B.B King, Jeff Beck, Les Paul, Carl Perkins, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Wes Montgomery, Sir Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, Slash, Dave Grohl, Lenny Kravitz, Jon Bon Jovi, Jack White, and Noel Gallagher to name a few.
This rare exhibition, curated by music photography archivist Dave Brolan, celebrates the 120 year anniversary of Gibson Brands Inc. having showcased the collection in London, Berlin, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, and Los Angeles.
