If you’re into post-rock (you should be by now, right?) then you know 65daysofstatic as not just the Sheffield band that created a poignant album like 2004’s Fall of Math. More than a decade after their claim-to-fame, the band are still making waves with their math and post-rock sound mingled with electronic music. Even better, you get to see them live in Bengaluru between March 19 and 20 at the first edition of Indie March.
The festival’s first wave of bands announced include a heady trippy German psychedelic/stoner band called Colour Haze, Scottish electronica duo Happy Meals and a good serving of Indian artists – ranging from the crowd-pullers like Dualist Inquiry and Parvaaz to Kerala rockers Avial, Mumbai instrumental/prog band Pangea and Chennai rock trio Skrat, who are part of 30 artists on five stages.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now, at an early bird price of Rs 1,899 (general) and Rs 1,199 for students.
