The one day festival is programmed to offer the visitors a host of events including music, comedy, and theatre; and an opportunity for artists to shell out some of their best homegrown works of art including CDs, food, jewellery, clothing, and screen films at their respective stalls. For a mere 300 bucks, one will have the excuse of sticking around the whole day experiencing the work of fourteen artists, with performances by Tankbund, Kitchensink, Jamblu + Lifafa, Nice Weather For Ducks, Kaivalya Play’s Improv Group, and New Delhi Comedy Club’s New Dicks On The Block, amongst others. Curated by Ghar ka Records in association with Epic Shit Entertainment and Akshara Theater, the DIY Day is a completely crowd-funded event with a successful campaign so far and boasting of a new and different format, on top of which, Pepsi MTV Indies (PMI) is also crowdsourcing one band to play at the DIY Day.
