Delhi based hardcore act Grammy Winning Effort is in the process of putting the finishing touches to its debut EP, titled Big in Japan. They are scheduled to release the album “anytime between July 17 and 20”. The collection, recorded at vocalist Dayus Madhan’s home studio, will consist of nine tracks.
"We have tried to keep the entire sound on the record as close to what the band sounds live," said guitar-player Shashwat Pandit. “We also have a few of our friends screaming on a few songs," he added, talking about the ‘gang’ vocals on the album. The band has also hinted at a behind-the-scenes video release, with the entire recording process being documented in video and still images.
