Lo-fi crew Hoirong has dropped an album of cover songs as a tribute to the late American lo-fi pioneer Daniel Johnston. The Delhi based band has usually found great appreciation across musicians and followers for their bona fide approach to writing music much like the legendary Johnston whose work in cassettes recorded alone were frequently cited for its "pure" and "childlike" qualities. This album comes as an apt tribute to the man.
