Bangalore’s Indian Institute of Science are now calling in registrations from semi professional bands across the country for the second edition of Pravega’s Battle of the Bands, to be held from January 30 to February 1, 2015. The registration lines are open till December 10, of which ten teams each from Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata will be selected for regional prelims in the respective cities after an initial online screening. Finally, top six bands will get the chance to perform at Pravega's first Pro-nite in IISc, with the rocking Bangalore crowd cheering for them. Winners stand the chance to win a bucketload of prizes – exciting cash prizes, music videos, recording deals, EP reviews by notable magazines and most importantly, a chance to win the hearts of the music-thirsty Bangalore crowd await the winners. Hurry up and enroll your band to playing at one of the biggest cultural festivals in the country.
