Kolkata’s indie electronica duo, as promised, have recently released their music video for ‘Blue Raccoon Dog’ off of the duo’s sophomore EP, Clever Clever. The music video had been in the works since earlier this year, directed by European film maker Janis Jostmans. “When Clever Clever came out, I kind of sent a couple of songs to Jan,” front man Aniket Dutta told us, “And then he chose ‘Blue Raccoon Dog’ for the video. Janis worked on the story boarding and everything. So, he and a couple of his friends came up with the video entirely. The video was shot in Northern Europe in Latvia at the Liepaja lake.”
While the music video was in the works, Oh,Rocket were also signed by UK-based record label Metal Postcard Records, with grand plans for the future. “At the moment I am working on China tour which will come up pretty soon,” Aniket told us, “Sometime around August. I am working on some new material, and we are also planning on collaborating with a few artists from abroad. So, we will be recording another EP by the end of this year, and start work on a new album also which we intend to release early next year.”
