The New Wave Music Fest Getting Ready For Its First Prelude Gig

Jul 09, 04:49pm

With its main festival scheduled to to happen on November 15 and 16, the festival organizers are leaving no stones unturned to keep the momentum going with its first pre-event gig featuring The Loyalists, and Punk on Toast in Goa.

The New Wave Music Fest 2014 is all set to kick off its first gig on July 12 at Baywatch Resort, Goa, as an antecedent event to the much talked about main festival to be held on 15 and 16 November. Featuring The Loyalists, and Punk on Toast, hailing from Mumbai, one can expect the event to give a glimpse into what all has been planned for the main event.

Planning to sell the tickets for the main event at such gigs, the organizers are all motivated to keep the momentum going in the lead up to the main event, with the hope that it will be a big success.

Although the line-up for the main event in November has not been finalized yet, we should be expecting to see various bands from countries like Nepal, Myanmar, Japan, Malaysia and U.A.E, along with local players like Peter Cat Recording Co., The Circus, The Ganesh Talkies, Sky Rabbit, FuzzCulture, and Spud in the Box.

Looks like Goa will be witnessing a ‘new wave’ in its music scene this year with such events in the pipeline.
