A confluence of three musicians living in Kuwait, originally hailing from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India, led to the formation of The Overseas Project. The band plays a heady mix of pop, rock, the blues, Hindi rock, and more, with a couple of singles and a video already out and further releases lined up. We speak with Amitabh Sengupta, Majid Mahmood, and Hasib Raza, the three guys who constitute The Overseas Project, about Dropbox, politics in their music, their vision and philosophy, their sound, and what the future holds.
