Australian progressive extreme metal band Ne Obliviscaris are coming down to India to headline the IIM Bangalore cultural fest Umaad’s B-School of Rock on January 30, and then at IIT Guwhati on Feb 1. The B-School of Rock will be opened by Bangalore-based progressive metal band Eccentric Pendulum, assuring a night of metal mayhem. Formed in 2003, Ne Obliviscaris are known for their unique sound and intense live shows. Their 2012 album, Portal Of I, saw them rise to become one of the most prominent metal bands in Australia, headlining festivals such as Progfest & Sonic Forge, and gaining fans across the globe.
In the past, B-School of Rock competition has witnessed bands like Chrome.O.Soul, Public Issue, Inner Sanctum, Parvaaz, The Down Troddence, and Clown With The Frown, rock the stage; this year the competition has shortlisted seven bands from over hundreds of entries from bands accross the country.
