As many as 23 gigs, spanning multiple genres, are set to take place over a period of just 10 days across six cities as a lead-in to the first ever edition of 100 Pipers VH1 Sound Nation. The gigs kick off on May 2, with artists ranging from Parikrama, Indus Creed, Nucleya, Your Chin, Thermal and a Quarter, Scribe, Alobo Naga, Them Clones, Blackstratblues and many more taking the stage at various gigs featuring artists belonging to a whole host of genres – EDM, rock, blues, it’s all there – happening in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune.
The series of gigs concludes with an awards night, to be held at Hard Rock Café (Lower Parel) in Mumbai on May 11. The awards featured on the evening include categories such as Best Live Performance, Best Electronic Act, Best Metal Act, and more. In addition to the awards ceremony, the evening will also feature live music, with Indus Creed, MIDIval Punditz, Your Chin, and Madboy/Mink all performing as well.

The Mumbai duo, Madboy/Mink, have been making generating quite a buzz with their eclectic music and engaging and energetic live sets. We had a short chat with the band about their music and their identity, among other things.
Sky Rabbit will be playing their last show of the year at 100 Pipers India Music Week, on December 8 at Blue Frog, Mumbai, along with Blackstratblues, Soulmate, The Supersonics, and Spud in the Box.
