The majestic Kingdom of Dreams, located in Gurgaon, NCR, will host an explosive contest for college bands, titled Band of the Year, from March 14 to March 16. 24 bands, selected through a rigorous process of voting and judging, will compete on March 14 and 15 in two categories – Hindi/Fusion and English – to reach the grand finale, to be held at the same venue on March 16. One winner in each category earns a cool Rs. 1 lakh as cash prize, while also getting an opportunity to perform in six live entertainment events at the Kingdom of Dreams. And, of course, there are gift vouchers that the winning bands stand to earn.
In addition, there’s the chance to get featured on MTV and Gaana.com through the contest. Some of the bands that have been shortlisted for Band of the Year include Zero Education, Southies, Outercourse, WAJD, Rudraksh, Pratigya, and many more.
